The Meaning Behind the Song

"Space Of Time" is an album about change. It’s about the passage of time, about hopes and disappointments, about societal changes and personal experiences. The title track looks back on the year 1969 and the era of Woodstock—a time filled with a spirit of optimism and the hope for a better world. More than fifty years later, the question arises: what remains of those ideals? Other songs also deal with change: “Empty Street” addresses climate change, “Do You Know” explores a relationship crisis, and “Small Town” examines life in a world where everyone is watching everyone else.

The cover of "Space Of Time" captures the album’s central theme. The old man standing in front of the giant clock symbolizes the inexorable passage of time. No one can stop it, and no one can escape it. The photos of the band in front of the famous “Zeitfeld” in Düsseldorf also fit perfectly with this idea. The past, present, and future are interconnected—and every person moves through their own space of time.
